Daisy games - video work

I am currently developing new ideas for video installation works to be filmed at various locations around Scotland. I am interested in language and common expressions spoken by people from across the globe. From proverbs to children's games, many expressions are consistent from country to country.

I will be working with the game that is played by children taking a petal from a daisy and each petal that is taken the words 'Loves me' then 'Loves me not' is spoken in turn until there is one remaining petal. This final one tells you whether he/she loves you or not.

Filming will take place in August 2005 and summer 2006
